Devlog 1 - Color Palette


On this time, we came to understand that choosing rather choosing traditional Gameboy style we can go for monochrome. After trying several colours in monochrome, we came with decision to use the blue monochrome.

 But shortly after discussing with our mentors we came to understand that there was a factor of colour blindness that was not taken into consideration. But after the research we got the information that the blue colour blindness has the least number of patients. So luckily, we went with our initial plan and started with characters, UI and level design.

So, the colour palette for the blue monochrome was set.

 

The monsters for the game were decided such as

 Enemy type 1, taken inspiration from pinky, a monster in doom eternal

Enemy description -

  • 2 legged
  • Slow moving monster
  • Melee attack
  • Strong Armor
  • Bulk

Upcoming Tasks: -

  • Make a complete level map.
  • Complete the Story Script.
